Fees and seller earnings

Marketplace buyer fees

Buyers pay a 15% service fee on the completed sale price, including accepted offers and retailer drawing purchases. On a $100 card, the buyer fee is $15 and the total is $115 before applicable tax. The full total appears before payment.

VaultBid Store purchases

Direct purchases from the VaultBid Store have no separate marketplace buyer service fee. The listed product price, any listed shipping charge and applicable tax make up the checkout total.

Mew & Mewtwo drawing

Entry is free. If selected, the purchase is $225 plus a 15% buyer service fee ($33.75), for $258.75 before applicable tax. Shipping is free. Review and authorize the tax-inclusive total before completing entry.

Selling on VaultBid

Sellers pay a 12% commission on the completed sale price plus Stripe’s actual payment processing fees. These deductions are disclosed when you create a listing. Seller-paid shipping is separate.

On a $100 sale, the commission is $12. Seller proceeds are $88 minus the actual Stripe processing fee. Your account shows actual deductions and final earnings after Stripe supplies the processing amount.

VaultBid collects the buyer service fee and seller commission. The processing deduction covers Stripe’s fee for the buyer’s payment, including its service fee. No estimated processing percentage is used for final payouts.

Payout timing

Seller proceeds remain held until the existing delivery window is satisfied. Refunds and disputes may delay or reverse a payout. If the processing amount is unavailable, payout waits rather than using an estimate.
